Blue Marine Life | Return and Refund Policy

Overview

At Blue Marine Life, we strive to ensure the highest satisfaction for our customers. Our return and refund policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging. All returns are subject to inspection by our team to verify that the item and its packaging are free from any physical damage.

Please note that several items are exempt from being returned, including:

  • All livestock (e.g., ornamental fish, corals).
  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable software.
  • Live nutrition items.
  • Perishable items (e.g., live plants, certain feeds).
  • Custom or special orders.

Items showing signs of use, tampering, or any physical damage not caused during shipping will not be eligible for a return or refund.

Return Requirements

To complete your return, a valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Partial Refunds (If Applicable)
Partial refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • The item is not in its original condition, or it is damaged/missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • The item is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Non-Refundable Situations
Returns or refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:

  • Items that show signs of use or tampering.
  • Products damaged by the customer.
  • Custom or special orders unless there is a defect.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notification within 48 hours confirming the receipt of your returned item. The notification will also include whether your refund request has been approved or denied.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and the credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 4 to 7 business days.

Refunds will only be issued to the original method of payment unless store credit is requested by the customer.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after the expected timeframe, please take the following steps:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take additional time for the refund to officially post.
  3. Contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before refunds are posted.

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded, replaced, or returned.

Exchanges

We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same product, please send an email to info@bluemarinelife.qa and return the item to our shop located in Old Doha Port.

Exchanges will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you may either mail it or visit our shop. You will be responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee the receipt of your returned item without proof of delivery.

If your product was damaged during shipping, please notify us immediately upon receiving the package and provide photographic evidence of the damage. Claims for shipping damage must be made within 48 hours of delivery.

International Returns

For international customers, please note that shipping fees and any customs duties incurred are non-refundable. Additional processing time may apply for international returns.

Restocking Fees

For certain larger items or special orders, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply. This will be deducted from the refund amount.

Special Circumstances

Blue Marine Life reserves the right to assess returns or refunds on a case-by-case basis. Special conditions may apply based on the nature of the product or the specific situation.
